Geometry activity for toddlers


-Draw a big oval on a black construction paper and cut it out (you can cut 4 at a time).  Repeat for a group of 8.

-Fold a copy paper in 4, draw a medium size oval and 2 smaller ones for the eyes. Cut them out. Repeat.

-Fold a yellow construction paper in 4 and draw 2 triangles for the beak.

-Fold an orange construction paper, draw 4 triangles and cut them out for the feet.

  PATRIOTIC WIND SPINNER CRAFT FOR TODDLER First day we painted one side of a paper plate blue. Touch both side of the plate to feel if one is smoother and choose the other side for the blue. Day two, I put 4 or 5 pieces of painter tape on the smoother side then asked the kids to paint red. Day 3 we removed the tape.   SHAPE SHAMROCK math activity (geometry) for toddlers I demonstrated how to make one then I give them 3 circles and 1 triangle and let them doing what they please.  The important think is that they hear the word circle when giving some then triangle, the rest is just for fun.
